Curriculum Vitae

Graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University in Bratislava, in 1987. He completed his postgraduate training at clinics in Bratislava and obtained the first-degree attestation in internal medicine in 1990. He then continued his specialization training in cardiology and was certified in the field in 1996. In 1998 he obtained the second-degree attestation in internal medicine, and in 2008 he successfully completed his doctoral studies and was awarded the title PhD.

He has delivered a large number of presentations at European congresses and authored numerous publications in domestic and foreign literature. He is the author of one standalone monograph.

Professionally, he is active in the field of cardiology. He currently serves as the head physician of the pacemaker centre at the Trnava University Hospital (FN Trnava). Over the course of his career, he introduced several innovative procedures in permanent cardiac pacing and was involved in the professional postgraduate training of graduates.

During his practice, he completed study stays in the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Italy. He worked in Germany in the field of internal medicine/cardiology.
