Curriculum Vitae

Hepatologist, gastroenterologist, internist, co-founder of the hepatology specialization field. He lectured at several medical faculties: Slovak Medical University and Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University (LFUK) in Bratislava, Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy at the University of Besançon (France), Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University in Brno, Faculty of Medicine of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice, University of Health and Social Work of St. Elizabeth in Bratislava. He introduced endoscopic elastic ligation of esophageal varices, several methods of targeted ultrasound-guided organ biopsy, and comprehensive integrated care for patients at the hepatobiliary center to Slovak medicine. He focuses on metabolic, inflammatory and tumor diseases of the liver, gallbladder and pancreas.

Hepatology Clinic

Focuses on diseases of the liver, gallbladder and pancreas, digestive disorders and nutritional disorders. Advanced methods of diagnostics, treatment and monitoring are used: a wide spectrum of blood tests, abdominal sonography, elastography, esophago-gastro-duodenoscopy, elastic ligation of esophageal varices and other methods.
