MUDr. Basel Mosallam graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University in Bratislava in General Medicine. After completing his studies, he obtained a specialization in neurology and during his professional career worked at several neurological workplaces in Slovakia. He gained professional experience in neurological outpatient clinics, neurology departments of hospitals, and within institutional emergency services.

In his professional practice, he focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system. Among the most common conditions he treats are headaches and migraines, dizziness, spinal disorders, neuropathies, sensory disorders, epilepsy, cerebrovascular accidents, Parkinson's disease, neurodegenerative diseases and other neurological diagnoses.

As part of a comprehensive neurological examination, he focuses on identifying the cause of health problems such as pain, limb numbness, muscle weakness, dizziness, consciousness disorders, memory disorders, sleep disorders, gait disorders, tremors or cramps. Based on clinical examination and detailed medical history, he recommends further diagnostic procedures including laboratory tests, EEG, EMG, CT or magnetic resonance imaging.

After establishing a diagnosis, he sets up individual treatment with the aim of achieving the best possible health condition for the patient and improving their quality of life. When necessary, he recommends rehabilitation treatment, further specialist examinations or consultation at specialized neurological centers.

In his work, he emphasizes a professional yet humane approach. He believes that successful treatment is based on accurate diagnosis, modern medical knowledge, mutual trust and open communication between doctor and patient. The goal of a neurological examination is to establish the correct diagnosis as soon as possible, set up effective treatment and ensure optimal management of the patient's health condition.
